Guardian of the nameless realm between dream and waking, Yume is a beautiful fairy-like being with a warm smile for all. She takes care of all who enter her realm, but shows a special fondness for Kuraido, taking the role as his mentor and confidant.

Before Wiseman rose to power, Yume watched over Nightopia as its ruler. After her defeat, Wiseman could not bring himself to destroy her, so he trapped her in the limbo realm between the dream world and the waking world. The dwelling place of broken dreams and shattered promises, it was a dismal place before Yume’s coming. The only way out is through a vortex of unparalleled peril, which none of the residents had the courage to attempt. Yume saw the required courage in Kuraido, but he lacked the hope to see his way through. When Claris was banished to her realm, Yume knew the girl possessed the necessary hope, so together, Claris and Kuraido escaped to join the fight against Wiseman, for only in his true defeat can Yume and the other beings trapped in her limbo realm return to their true homes.
