Created by Wiseman, Reala in the Lord of Nightmare’s right hand man. Like a dark mirror image, Reala is NiGHTS’ equal and opposite. But unlike NiGHTS, Reala is not immune to Wiseman’s dark influence. Reala is far more serious, and far more deadly than his flippant twin, and fiercely loyal to his master, despite the fact that he was also imprisoned for a hundred years when he failed to capture the rebellious NiGHTS before he ruined Wiseman’s plans to remake the waking world to his own dark design.

When Wiseman was defeated by NiGHTS, Reala took over the mantle of Lord of Nightmare. The power went to his head, and he became just as wicked and unforgiving as his master. He was however defeated by NiGHTS and apparently vanished from existence. But can a creature of dreams truly die?
